Thanks to Bootiful Wimberley, which is a project of the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance, we have 50 unique and individually designed boots scattered at businesses throughout the town. These landmarks were introduced in 2014 in an effort to highlight local artists and enhance tourism at the same time. Both business sponsors and artists agreed that this was a fantastic idea.
The first Bootiful boot was introduced with a huge party in September 2014. Then, 32 sponsor locations were unveiled, including ours. People loved them, and the demand grew. As the result, 18 additional boots were released at new sponsor locations in May of 2015 bringing the total number of boots around the Wimberley area to 50 (48 are currently on display). In 2021, the WVAVA board approved to add 10 more boots, raising the cap to 60 throughout Wimberley. These newest locations have yet to be revealed, but are coming in the following year(s).

Finding the Bootiful Boots around Wimberley
To get things started, the After Midnight Boot (featured above) is located at our beloved Hotel Flora and Fauna at 400 River Road. The artist who created our boot is Tony Sansavero, and he also painted the mural that can be seen below the boot and on the wall of the hotel, immediately adjacent to where the boot sits. This is a fantastic place to start your tour of the Wimberley boots, and our map provides all of the distances to the other 47 viewable boots from this location.
