Blue Hole
In Wimberley, everybody appreciates the Blue Hole Regional Park. It is one of the best-loved natural swimming holes in Central Texas. Located in the heart of town, it is surrounded by over 100 acres of natural landscape, plus local flora and fauna.
With cold and refreshing water to enjoy, this becomes a popular place to be in the warmer months. Plan accordingly, and also note that there are not any services located here. For kids, it is worth mentioning that they have a playscape, a rope swing, and some soccer fields.
The depth of the water varies. The shallow parts are generally just a couple of feet deep, but there are also portions that go down as far as 20 feet.
